HSSC PGT Eligibility Criteria 2020
(Cat No. 1) PGT Biology –
Micro-Biology/ Plant Physiology/ Bio-Technology/ Life Sciences/Molecular Bio with at least 50% marks provided that the applicant had studied Botany &, Zoology at Graduation Level and B.Ed. from recognized university.
(Cat No. 2) PGT Chemistry –
M.Sc. Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry with at least 50%o marks and B.Ed.from recognized university.
(Cat No. 3) PGT Commerce –
M.Com. with Accounting/Cost accounting/Financial accounting as a major subject of study with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from recognized university. Holders of degree of M.Com in Applied/Business Economics shall not be eligible.
(Cat No. 4) Computer Science –
M.Sc Computer Science (Regular two year course)/ MCA (Regular three year course)/ BE/ B.Tech. Computer Science/ Computer Engg. / IT (Regular course) with 55% aggregate marks from a recognized university.
(Cat No. 5) PGT English –
M.A. English with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from recognized university.
(Cat No. 6) Fine Arts –
M.A. Fine Arts with atleast 50% marks and B.Ed from recognized university.

HSSC PGT Age Limit
- General Male – 18 to 37 Years
- General Female/BC/ OBC (Male/Female) – 18 to 42 years
- SC / SC (Male/Female) – 18 to 40 years (as on 01-08-2019)
HSSC PGT Selection Process 2020
HSSC PGT Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected based on Written Test.
The 90 marks of written examination shall be divided into to parts comprising:
1) 75% Weightage for General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Science, Computer, English, Hindi, and concerned or relevant subject, as applicable.
2) 25% Weightage for History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture, etc. of Haryana.
The 10 marks for socio-economic criteria and experience shall be allocated as follows:
1) if neither the applicant nor any person from among the applicant’s family viz father, mother, spouse, brother, and Son is, was or has been a regular employee in any DepartmentlBoardl Corporation/Company/ StatutoryBody/Commission/Authority of Government of Haryana or any other State Government or Government of India

- General (Female of Haryana Resident Only) – Rs. 125/-
- SC/BC/EWS Category candidates of Haryana State Only (Male) – Rs. 125, For Female – Rs. 75/-
